Game night 2.0 is planned for next week

Over 10 years ago my sister hosted a game night for our group of family and close friends. (our age group) There were like 15 of us. We had snacks, drinks, and a blast. We still quote some of the crazy things that were said that night. Well then life happened, people got married and had children, and not everyone was able to go out at 7 or 8 at night for drinks and games. I've been advocating for another one and my sister finally relented. It is planned for next week at 5 pm. My sister's plan is to order pizza, have the kids all playing together (probably with her in-house nanny--my mother--supervising), and playing rounds of Catch Phrase. The last time we did game night we played several games including Catch Phrase, Pictionary, and Cards Against Humanity. We can't do Cards Against Humanity with kids around. *sigh* I might bring some of my Jenga sets from work just to have another game to play. In any case it will be nice to get the old gang back together and to get out of the apartment for awhile.
