South Indian Dish to Relish

Recently, I went to a South Indian restaurant and wanted to eat the standard South Indian dish called the Dosa. It is a dish made from rice flour mixed with other flour and then fried on a flat plate with a liberal oil coating. one can have a plain Dosa or with a vegetable which normally consists of potatoes, boiled and fried with masala. It is a tasty combination. The Dosa can be eaten plain or accompanied by coconut Chutney and a Sambar dish made from Dal. Generally, Dosa is crisp and that adds to the flavor. It is now a global dish and even eat it in London or Canada. I find many westerns like this dish, now sold all over India and South-East Asia. I would request my friends to try this dish, and I am sure many of them would have already tasted it. It makes a nice meal or snack.

Dosa sounds interesting. I don't know of any place around my area that would be serving it, but I'd be willing to try it!

Kareng@ do you have an Indian restaurant nearby? That's where you can get it. Thanks.

@madan02 No. I live in a very rural area and the small town closest to me only has a few choices in food which is mainly burgers and sandwiches, 1 seafood place and 1 chicken place. The next closest town does not have an Indian restaurant either.
