The biodiversity of a place should be preserved

Every part of the world has its own biodiversity. The different plants, the animals, the insects should be preserved. For example in West Bengal there is a state bird called white throated kingfisher. Excepting sunderbans the birds have become rare due to human expansion.

I share your views.Preservation of biodiversity at any place is essential for our survival;but what is going on in our country is discouraging.Mine is a small town.Here a major part of jungles is cleared within last few years.You can now rarely spot here sparrows;crows and kites or vultures that you could see just 10 years back.
