All in their Easter bonnets

Last night we went up to the clubhouse in the evening. It was all Easter-themed and there was a good roll-up of residents. Vince took a lot of photos with his phone and put them up on the village’s FB site. A friend had ordered pizzas for about seven of the couples and we picked them up from the pizza shop around 6.30 pm. The photo shows the ladies who went to the trouble to make ‘Easter bonnets’. The lady with the red top and tall pink hat got most applause and won an Easter egg for her trouble. We played a heap of fun, simple games and everyone went home with a stash of chocolate. It was a fun night with some of the newer residents joining in and having a good time. No good looking for me in the photo as I didn't have an Easter bonnet.

They were handing out chocolate left, right and centre. Winners of games got slightly bigger bundles but those that had a go got chocolate as well. Everyone ended up with quite a bit.

Not really but if a lot of people get together for Easter someone might suggest that the ladies wear/make Easter bonnets.
