"20,000 Leagues Under The Sea"

Dear all, As many here know, I am a sci-fi nerd, beyond that I just love intriguing stories.This morning I am watching "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea." It's a classic from Jules Verne, originally a novel. Have you ever either read the book or watched a film adaptation? There are two film adaptations I am aware of, one from 1954, another from 1997.
