^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Warning: Admiral, there be SPOILERS here for "Palm Royale ((On Apple TV))," Episodes 1-4. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ With that in mind, let's go to Palm Beach in September 1969 and meet Maxine Dellacorte. Oh, relax. I'm not getting back in the TV Reviewing business. It's just that I've started watching a show called Palm Royale," and I'm going to tell you what I think of it. That's all. No review. I can't even remember the last show I did weekly reviews of. Boardwalk Empire? Californication? Shameless? The Big C? Nurse Jackie? I guess it really doesn't matter because all those shows are gone and we are doing Palm Royale," now. So let's do it. As soon as I remember how to not review a TV show. The characters might be a good place to start. I've already told you about Maxine. Then there's Carol Burnett. Her character, Norma Dellacorte, is in a coma, so she hasn't had much to do yet. But they are bringing her out of it and in one scene, which I think must have been a flashback, she delivers the immortal line, "Shake Me Another Martini And Then Let's Play Doctor Again," to Robert, who turns out to be (probably) Gay ((And I don't feel bad for telling you that because I told you there'd be Spoilers)). She also gets to do coma-tinged renditions of her Tarzan Yell. And there's even more impressive star power in the form of Bruce Dern and Julia Duffy. Is that enough in-depth exhaustive character analysis for this installment? I think so, too. So now, I'll tell you what impresses me the most this show and that would be the atmosphere. Corded dial phones. Records and record players. typewriters. Cigarette lighters disguised as pistols ((That's one of my personal favorites)). Maxine's Plymouth Belvedere. I think it's a 1967 but I'm not sure because I'm not an expert on vintage Plymouths. It doesn't really matter all that much because as soon as she gets access to it, she starts driving Norma's Rolls Royce. I don't blame her because if I were in her place, I'd do the same thing. And every time there's a TV on in the background, there's Dick Nixon ((Who's on so often, he should get credit as a supporting actor)), reminding us why he's called Dick and how much better off we'd be right now if our choice were between him and Sleepy Joe. Now, let's go take a look at the official trailer. ************** Palm Royale — Official Trailer | Apple TV+

That looks like it would be a good show to watch.
