High Heat Index

Yesterday we are surprised to hear that the street is silent and also the school in front of us is silent. We don't know what holiday or occasion it is. So I look at Facebook and I found out that classes are suspended for 2 days for high heat index. Sometimes when the sky is cloudy I thank God for a cool weather because the students in public schools will be comfortable. When it is very hot I also worried about the comfort of the students here who don't have airconditioned rooms

Here we have long summer holidays, it's true we have the custom to go to the sea for vacations and we often stay there for at least a week, but I think schools lacking A/C is another factor. However, due to climate change, it can get pretty hot before and after the holiday time. Glad it was chosen to close schools for 2 days. I hope students can find cooler places where to relax and perhaps do homework together in the meanwhile.
