Deputy in California rescue a stray dog on a street / myLot

A puppy is rescued by a police officer in California.

I am sure that Fresno County Sheriff's Office Deputy Clark did his job to serve and protect his community when he saw a mixed breed puppy running on a road in Mountain View California on Monday. Deputy Clark showing compassion for the puppy that ran on the street picked him up to take him to a safe place so he could feed the puppy who he called Caruthers. Fresno Humane Society Officials came to pick up the puppy and give the puppy a home for now until Caruthers is adopted by a loving family. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us/...

Stray, loose dogs can be a problem on streets, in traffic, and to people as well. It was good that this dog was removed from the streets, and will be given a new chance at life in a caring family.
