A pleasant surprise today!

I saw two flowers from a random succulent on my balcony this morning. They were not there yesterday. I wonder if they'll fold up tonight as it gets chillier. I am not sure of the name of this succulent. The leaves are not as pretty as those my jade plants, like the one (blurry) in the background. Do you have any idea what this succulent flower is called? It's at the end of a long "sprig" or "shoot" or whatever. I may try to research it. Off to play music with a friend.

Heh. Succulents are pretty easy to keep alive.

Hard to say what it is without seeing the whole succulent plant (including the leaves). I think it could be a Calandrinia.

It's amazing how flowers can appear without our having seen any buds or whatever. Just suddenly there it is. It's very pretty, whatever its name.

@TheHorse I cannot help you on the name but the one in the picture is very pretty. That must have been some surprise.

@TheHorse I am glad you got that wonderful surprise and that they are even prettier than the day before. Is the purdier from Kitty?

What a pretty color. I am of no help not seeing the leaves. I do know what a jade plant looks like, though.

I'd need to see more than just the blossom to try to identify it.
