A Dreary Sunday For Us Today

It was very cloudy and overcast here all day long. I had planned on getting up early and getting things done here and scoot on out the door to the flea market. I thought I would go help in the office for a bit after I finished organizing my booth. We had a Spring Fling Sale Friday and Saturday so I knew I would have a good bit of picking up to do. I was surprised that the booth wasn't as bad as it was last weekend after missing a week and a half of going by there to restock and tidy up. I managed to straighten up and put some new things out in an hour's time. That was about all I had before closing anyway because I drug my feet and did not leave until 2:50 this afternoon. Today just reminded me about the bleak and cold days of winter. I cannot deal with grey days! We have rain in the forecast for the next 3 days so I will have to entertain myself indoors. I am glad your booth was not too bad. It must be still a bit hard for you to take care of things. We have an appointment tomorrow afternoon and we would like to join a lesson about the magic of mathematics tomorrow morning. We will see.

@LadyDuck Math was not my favorite subject during school. I did good thru Algebra 1 and wanted to continue with Algebra II, but they insisted I take Geometry next. That was a total bomb!

@kareng - It takes longer to do things when we age, but the important is to arrive to do what we need to do. I am not a fan of mathematics, I go because I know that my husband feels more comfortable if I am with him.

I'm glad it didn't take long to get organized. I'm sorry you have three days of rain and bleak days. It's getting warmer here. With partly cloudy skies, I might see the eclipse. Other than that, it's the usual.

I don't have much on the agenda for this week. I see my peer this week and that is all. It is supposed to rain at the beginning of the week (it is raining now) but it was beautiful on Sunday so that makes me feel a bit better. I have a hard time being in grey days too. I want some sun. It makes me so much happier. Have a super week!

@LovesEverybody I had a nice drive in with no rain! The bad weather had already passed. I didn't mind going since our electricity went out at home around 9 am. followed by cell phones and internet. It was all out until after 4 pm today.

@kareng I hope you get to the boutique safely. We get your bad weather a little later here. there might be a thunderstorm tonight but not as bad as the weather is supposed to get on Thursday and Friday. the weather has been getting so wild lately. Tuesday here was gorgeous in the 70s!
