Ugly Old Used Desk

Four years ago, just before I moved into this apartment from a smaller one down on the other side of the building, I found an old, yellow, ugly desk. I had it put in my apartment to use for a sewing table. It is really ugly. It is like this faded yellow veneer that has been scratched and damaged a lot. It has one of the drawer handles hanging loose on one side. It really needs fixed up. Or maybe I should just get rid of it. Right now is the best time to make this decision since I will be moving in the next few months. So, here are my ideas. If I keep this desk, it will be going into my craft and art room. I could paint it in a very artsy way. For example, I could paint the main frame and top of the table in one base color and then paint each of the drawer fronts in different artsy colors. Or I could just paint it all in one color. Either way, I would replace all the drawer handles. Or I could just junk the desk and get a better table instead of a desk that would work for cutting out patterns, and sewing on as well. What would you do with this desk?

Because I have so little room here I'd probably move it on. Otherwise I might have used it in the garden (under cover maybe) as a potting table.

Oh that is a good idea. I never thought of using it outside. That also gave me an idea to use it in the basement I hope to have.

If you like the desk keep it. If not then leave it behind

My problem is that I always see the potential in something like this. But another problem is that I am no longer young and able to do the things I see potential for. LOL I am leaning toward getting rid of it.

I would paint it and use it in the craft room.
