I know its kinda late to show the picture to lotters here but I would like to let you all know the feeling of joy and happiness that finally my 3 months old niece is welcomed to the christian world. Family, relatives, god parents and friends gathered on a Easter Sunday to welcome Aila to the world.
It was a short notice to begin with because everybody is a bit busy with the Holy Week. Preparations for her christening came to a rush but we managed.
Its a different feeling when there is a new born baby at home. Everything is happy and light. After the christening at a catholic church we ate and interacted with guests at my aunt's house. Lots of food on the table available for everyone. ..We took a lot of pictures and posted them on our social media accounts.
My mom , my sister , me and my niece was on the picture cuddling baby Aila , she's so cute. Love her.
I know that there are a lot of different culture and beliefs and ways in welcoming a new born yo the world... How was it done in your country and in your religion? Is it also called Christening?

She is cute. The church my parents raised us in was babtist and didn't do that. But I know some religions do different things
