What's on the boob tube? Part 2, 4.13.2024

Well we finished the movie I wrote about earlier. It was better than I anticipated, but very very very bloody. Way bloodier than I thought, although I don't know what I expected when I read that it was a murder horror movie. We started The Magnificent Seven around the same time that I started dinner. I have seen bits and pieces of it before, but Chris hasn't so I didn't care that he started it while I was cooking. It has a star studded cast, including Ethan Hawke, Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt. There are several more big stars in it, but those are the "biggest" ones that I can remember right now. Fun fact, until I looked it up to grab the IMDB link to share with this post- I didn't know it was a remake. So there's that. It's a pretty good movie. Funny enough, but lots of action. Not really Chris Pratt's normal role- or at least as of late. But then again I remember him from Everwood. Bet no one else remembers that show from The WB/ CW or whatever it was called in those days.

I can not stand too much of blood on screen. Some of them can be so gross. I will just turn it off when it starts getting that way. But then it is very much expected from a murder horror movie. I like Denzel Washington. I hope that this one is good. I have not watched it.

I remember Everwood. It had the late, great, too soon gone Treat Williams.
