Is it possible to grow two flower plants in a single pot?

I do it all the time! As long as you have a big enough pot, not like one of those little seed starter containers, everything should work out just fine. I do this a lot to see how 2 different plants/flowers interact. I plant both seeds together, but at least 4 inches apart. No competition for water, food, sunlight, or anything. In fact, they usually end up helping each other out. I have a big pumpkin plant growing on the left, and a little flaxseed plant on the right. (And a deceased pumpkin plant I placed in a straw because I’m still not ready to say goodbye.) During the day, the little flax seedling sort of leans into the pumpkin plant, like hey buddy, this sun is getting kinda hot for me. A little help here? And sure enough, within an hour, one of the big pumpkin leaves moves to the right and provides the seedling with some shade, covering it just enough without squashing it, like an umbrella. It’s one of the most amazing things I’ve ever witnessed in gardening. True communication.

Yes I would say you cannot or rather should not do that..but I don't know.

I often start plants off with more than one in a pot. Once they've established some roots, I split them into separate pots.
