Tomorrow is going to be a long day

Well at least compared to a usual day in my life lately. It might seem like a normal day for most people who work a 9-5 job. The alarm goes off at 5:30am. I leave here by 6:30 and am at work before 7 am. I'm usually out of there at 1:50 pm and back here by 2:20. Tomorrow and Thursday, though, I have training sessions from 2:30 until 5 pm. They are about sheltered English instruction which has something to do with strategies for assisting students who have limited English skills because it is a second language. There are 5 sessions in total--another one is next week and then there are 2 more in May. While I always say that the district should be training us in how to work with these students as our demographics change honestly I signed up because I'll get $450 for attending all 5 sessions. It's about $36/hour which is less than tutoring but $450 than I otherwise would have. I will show up with my water bottle, Chromebook, and some snacks. The cats will be beside themselves when I don't roll in after 2 pm. I will be exhausted when I finally do around 5:30.

The cats will get used to it, then it'll change again.
