Pantry goodies!

I mentined in my post about what was for dinner, that we got to go raid the 'prepper' ' pantries.
I didn't get a great picture of what we got, because I ran out of room on the counters, but I snapped this picture before I made dinner.
Before I get the comments. YES I know it's processed stuff. YES I know Spam isn't good for you. YES I know there are healthier options. But when you are doing the best with what life has given you, and making due with what is in front of you and what you can work with, you don't get to be too picky. There's also freezer stuff, but I put it away too fast.
Oh well.

I do too, always have. My grandpa used to shred it with cheese and put it on buttered hot dog buns in the oven for like ten minutes so the cheese would get all melty. So good.

@wolfgirl569 Fried is always good too. We have plentymight fry some up in the next couple of days for lunch. With fries or something.

You'll get no flack from me. Most are just doing the best they can. We have a road verge pickup soon and our village have put their stuff just outside the gates on a patch of ground. Others in the neighbourhood have been adding to it as some don't have much room on their verges. Half the village is up in arms about the 'eyesore'. It will be gone in a week or two. They're just bl*ddy lucky to have stuff to throw out.

Those SPAM in picture look like some burger. I am guessing it. We all have some unhealthy or not so healthy options in our pantry too.
We all plan our meals according to budget and convenience.
