Gaza,Iran, and Israel

Many friends have asked me what is happening in the Middle East. I wonder why people can't live and let live and why do they believe that they can succeed with the words ofJames Bond, 'live and let die.'
I am talking of the battle in Gaza which really started when a terrorist organisation called Hamas attacked Israel with over 10,000 rockets. At that time other than a few nations nobody condemned the incident except the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the USA.
When Israel retaliated in Gaza, many in the world awoke up and began to talk of genocide by Israel. Some countries went and filed a case of genocide against Israel in the International Court of Justice. All I can say is that this is not the best way forward.
Now there is escalation, and after an Israel attack in Syria, where senior generals of the Iranian revolutionary guard were killed Iran has launched over 300 drones, rockets', and ICBM's. The good news is that the entire weaponry launched , totally failed and all were shot down.
Now there is a danger of a retaliation by Israel. I do not know what is going to happen but I hope peace prevails. Otherwise the Middle East could well blow up like an active volcano..

I think we all hope this situation doesn't escalate, some talk of WW3.
It seems like the Iranian retaliation against Israel was mostly meant for internal purposes, for the Iranian public opinion. Allegedly, the US were alerted in private before the drones and rockets were sent and Iran didn't sent their best weapons. Still glad Israel managed to destroy all the rockets and drones.
