Don't Know How I Did it

I was just thinking.....I used to hold down a full-time job. I was in customer service. I had so much to remember. Where to park, how to sign in, what to say for different calls, where to send people, what form was used in what situation, all the passwords that were changed every few months, where to go to find certain information, where to go to check my schedule changes and how to put in for needed changes, steps we had to take after each call and which we had to report where. I retired from HP in 2005 or 2006. I had taken an early retirement I had been given. It had been only a few years earlier that I had been diagnosed with major depression and panic attacks. I only worked there for five years and was given a small pension. I had a very nice retirement party and received a mountain bike as the retirement gift I chose. I put a lot of miles on that bike. I could never do that job now. I couldn't remember all that information.

I hear you. I was holding down my third job moving up the ranks in marine insurance companies when my anxiety and panic attacks started, I lost that job and never got another one in NYC and later moved with mom to Latvia. The good thing is that altogether I worked 8 years and now I get my SS,

That is too bad. But good in other ways. I feel like I was lucky to get a pension after only being there only five years.

I would not want to have the stress I had when I worked full time. I much prefer being retired!!!

It sure does. I worked in customer service for many years and so I was used to different things I had to do for each job. I just don't think I would be able to keep it all in my head now as I was able to then.
