The jury in Trump's election interference/hush money Manhattan case has been selected

It was looking rough for awhile this morning. On Tuesday they ended with 7 but by mid-morning today 2 of the jurors were removed. People were surprised at how quickly the jurors were selected in the first 2 days but then today everyone hit the brakes when the number of jurors was knocked back down to 5. I was busy at work today so I couldn't check the news much and then I had a 2.5 hour training after that. I turned on the news when I got back here after 5 pm and was surprised to see that they had already empaneled a 12 member jury and selected 1 alternate. Both sides are now out of strikes so they are stuck with anyone who makes it through without being stricken by the judge for cause. Pundits on TV are saying that it should be a fast process to get 5 more alternates tomorrow and the trial actually can start on Monday. We shall see but I tend to believe that is true.
