Restaurant Review

As I mentioned in my previous post, my husband and I went on a 2 day beach trip last weekend. Well, actually it was 3, but some of that was driving time.
We only went out to eat one time. We decided to try a restaurant to which we had never been. It was called Runaway Island. The food was very good and the service was great. Our waiter was nice and efficient. It is a place we will visit again.
This restaurant had live music which I love, but some of the song choices were crappy for a restaurant in which children were present. I didn't really like any of the songs, even though the musician performed them very well. Personally, I don't listen to anything but Christian music, but at places like this, I know they won't have Christian music, so I wish they would at least play generic, clean music.
Having said all that, it was a good restaurant and we will eat there again.

Are you friends with our Pony @TheHorse? You should. He is into generic, clean music, that is mostly tear jerker.
Here is one by him. If I were to go to a beach restaurant like that, and Pony the great sang this, I would order the cheapest possible pizza, pour tomato sauce on it, and apply on Pony's face. That is because people should be made happy not sad.
Needless to say, we don't get along at all. We are so poles apart. I too love god's songs. But when on beach I like happy numbers. He sings very well, and has great voice. Otherwise, ....

@vandana7 Oh wow! I like that song alot. She has a beautiful sound too. I am going to listen to more of her music.
I listened to the other song, too (the one by pony). It was definitely sad. I couldn't listen to it too often, but I am glad I listened once. It put me under conviction. There are so many people that are hurting and feel alone. I need to make sure I am not missing opportunity to show them that someone cares. That particular song hit home with me because my husband and I are now empty nested. We are active in our grown kids lives, but there was a time where we felt abandoned and alone. God, alone, was able to get us through that heart-wrenching time.
Thanks for the Mandy Harvey link! I love that she includes sign language. I really like her sound.
