Blue sky, lush green grass, heavy pink blossom on the trees and yellow flowers in pots outside the kitchen door. No sound other than birds feeding at the feeders hung on the tree, and the gentlest breeze moving in from the bay and over the fields. Clean, white shirts drying on the line. I’ve done nothing to deserve a blessing as rich as this yet God has decided to bless me anyway. Baruch attah Adonai Eloheinu melek ha-olam.
