Deputy rescues a dog and a teen stranded in a ridge in Oregon

A 17 year old male teenager was rescued by deputies of the Klamath County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) when he was stranded in a steep cliff in Oregon on Wednesday March 27 when the teenager attempted to rescue his three year old dog who is a boxer named "Wiggy" who had been lost for three days.
Wiggy was able to get the attention of the teenager by whimpering from below a cliff. The teenager trekked down 200 feet from the top of the cliff to reach his dog when he needed to be rescued by the deputies himself and his pet.
The teenager was stranded near the top of Hagelstein Ridge when a deputy with the KCSO was sent to rescue both the teenager and his dog and take them to a safe place.
Both the teenager and his pet are safe and sound after the deputy risked his life to save their lives.

I hope this teens dog doesn't do such a thing again. He might not be so lucky.

Well glad both the guy and his dog Wiggy are safe and sound, Poor dog must have been so scared and I can understand why the teen tried to rescue the dog himself but he should have though about what would have happened if he fell or anything, He should have called to the dog and then got rescue to get him,

The boy was a bit recklessly overkeen to rescue his dog, and he got them both into trouble. He was lucky ro be rescued by the deputy.
