Oh, it feels like the building is going to vibrate itself to pieces. I can feel it in my chair and mostly in my chest, and it is so very uncomfortable. There is nowhere to go to get away from it. They are working in our parking lot. I thought they were only repainting our handicapped parking areas to make them larger. But apparently, they are tearing up some or most of the concrete out front. It is like rolling thunder inside the building. I don't know because I did not read the handout because I don't have a car. It was all about moving the cars out of the immediate front parking lot so they could repaint the handicapped parking. But others in the building have said they are going to dig out our front flower gardens to pave it over with concrete. I know we cannot have our own gardens here anymore, and the company has their own landscapers coming in to "beautify" the place. We lack confidence in that at this point. Mail delivery...we know the rule...rain, shine, etc... the mail must go through. Not sure how they have done this morning. We have one of the variety of meals on wheels to be delivered around noon or so. That driver won't be happy if he has to park at much of a distance to bring in the meals. Guests/visitors are not going to be happy, especially if they are also disabled and need close parking. This noise is not making my DaisyMae very happy either. She is afraid of noises. Taking her outside today was not pleasant because of the noise and the work vehicles. We only have two doors we can enter the building from and now the one is not going to work because of the workers out there. Not happy with the other one because there is no grass anywhere very close, just flowerbeds and dirt. She is an all-white long-haired dog. I hope it doesn't take long for them to finish with all this noise and breaking up things. UGH!
