Went on a cleaning spree of my own.

While I was waiting for George to come back in from being outside, I put on a t.v. show and did a little cleaning around the house. Got the trash out, Got the dishwasher emptied, and emptied and folded clothes on the dryer. George has been extra stuborn today, so that's been fun. After I do his tube feed, I can work on the other things that I need to do, like getting the folded clothes in the house and back into the house. Slowly I've also been working at the pile of laundry I've allowed to collect since George's hopitialization. I figured it'd be smart to stop putting it off. I do need to take breaks from the screen and I don't think it helps anyone, myself included, if I just lie on the couch and let myself become lazy.
George just walked in, so I'm going to strike while the iron is hot.

It looks like you two have quite a working relationship. Laundry here was done yesterday. Now to get it folded and put away.

Yeah, we do. Admittedly post-stroke, I've been doing a little more. However, when George gets a whim he'll unload the dryer and fold the clothes.

I do laundry on Monday and Thuresday. George is working on his incontance, but even before the stroke doing laundry once a week didn't cut it. I'm glad I was able to talk George into buying a couple pairs of long pants though.

You got a lot done. Laundry never stops.
I can't do mine because the washer here is broken. It spews water all over the floor. I will wash the small stuff in the sink if I need to. I used to have a small circular clothesline that hung on a hook in my room but I lost it when I moved. I will look for another on Amazon.
