Good morning, friends. Fall has a way of making me lazy. Or maybe it is the extra pills that I´m taking. Who knows. I have been reading but I cannot read for too long because I tend to doze. Lili gave me her last book when I went to her house for lunch. She is writing very short stories so I can read 3 or 4 and do something else. She also sent me a link of an anthology of minifiction written by Spanish speaking writers. I am reading that little by little too. I have to have some medical exams as the last doctor I went to see wants to know everything about me, including sugar and blood pressure. I told him that I had no problem but my last exams were taken years ago. People change with age. Two weeks ago, Dixie found that Humberto had some hidden pills for diabetes. I think that it is better to tell the people closer to you about your medical problems. It is a shame, specially as he is a doctor. I´ll check online if the new meds have side effects. I´m supposed to take higher doses each week. But the doctor told me to be on the lookout although he did not tell me what should I check. Lately, it seems that we all will have to study medicine if we want to stay alive.
