Today is My Friday. / myLot

Yep, I’ve decided that today is my Friday. I’m not working tomorrow unless I need to revise one of my submitted orders. I’ve been working on writing orders since Sunday… I need a break. Sometimes, one of my project managers sends me orders over the weekend. They’re one of the few clients I’ll complete orders for over the weekend. When this happens, they’re usually due on Monday, so if I receive any, I’ll just work on them on Sunday. But otherwise, I’m not working tomorrow or Saturday if I can help it. If I’m rambling and not making much sense right now, please bear with me. For one, I’m multitasking. Secondly, I fell asleep with the window open last night, and the temperature dropped, so I’m not feeling too great. My sister and I walked around the park instead of going to the gym this morning. Eventually, we headed back home and waited for my niece to get ready for work, then we all went to the coffee shop (my niece works here). I’ve been here since noon or so. I’m hoping to finish this order soon. Once I get home, I’m getting a shower, putting on some comfy clothes, and relaxing for the night. In my previous career I worked a 4/10 workweek, so every Thursday was my Friday. I loved it. Twenty years of that. It took me quite a bit of time to adjust going back to work on a regular workweek schedule in my job I'm in now, I still wish I had Fridays off so I could have a longer weekend.
