If reading the Anne Frank Diary is a bit too much reading, then I recommend to read this book: Anne Frank diary the Graphic Edition. It is really not for kids, well maybe selected pages you could show to your kids, but it is really for adults. I "enjoyed" it, knowing that she never would see the form that her writing would take. It is very intersesting reading and looking at the graphics.
