Have you tried to use baby shampoo to clean your eyes?

I read that I need to use baby shampoo for my eyes. I have a new eye disease( blepharitis) and I need to clean my eyes twice a day. This disease appeared because of other diseases. It's not very serious, but it's chronic. I am going to try everything I read because I can't afford to see a doctor. I will need to go to the dentist as soon as possible because a broken tooth cut my tongue. Yesterday I wasn't able to eat and talk.

I tried water and shampoo, but nothing worked. I read online about shampoo, many articles recommend shampoo. But I will use only water.

I would not use baby shampoo, better to buy an over-the-counter eyelid cleanser. Do not use shampoo. My husband suffered of blepharitis, a cotton pad soaked in warm water is better than using shampoo.

How could he get rid of blepharitis? I won't use it. I used it only twice and it caused more problems.

I would never use that stuff for my eyes..it has fragrance and would irritate them.

I already tried it, but it irritates my eyes like you said. And I have a blurry vision. My problem is worse than before.

Diluted baby shampoo was the recommended treatment years ago, but it may do more harm over time. You can probably find an over-the-counter product just as effective and safer.

@dya80dya Use check with your pharmacy. They have eye sprays now. Lid scrubs: These are available over the counter as a spray, foam or individually wrapped towelettes, often containing hypochlorous acid. They help reduce dandruff on your lashes and the bacterial numbers on your eyelid skin.

@dya80dya How do you know all your teeth will be replaced??Leave it to the doctor. He will do what is good for you.One thing you must know is that doctors try to save your teeth as much as possible.Don't fear;please;and visit a good dentist.

I can afford to go to a doctor, but I need to have all my teeth replaced. And this will be very expensive. I can't go to different doctors at the same time. They charge more than $100 in a single session.

I do not know if baby shampoo is a better cleanser for eyes. A herbalist once suggested to use just.plain water with salt or lemon.

It seems like it's not. I wonder if salt won't irritate the eyes.

I tried it and it's a bit irritating. I don't think it helps.
