I was looking at pots with leftovers in the fridge when I came across the last thigh with mushroom sauce that I had made. I could not serve it for Tania because it was too little and I did not eat it when Mario came as my food would be much better than his. So there it was. I deboned the thigh and added 2 more mushrooms that I had left with some thick cream. Now I´m cooking pasta. I had some leftover mixed pasta besides the whole packages. But I fon´t care. I mixed penne and fetuchinni. No one will see me. And that, friends, will be my lunch. I will eat some ice cream after my nap. I love mushrooms.

mushroom helps a lot. I also add diced raw ones to salads when they are very fresh.

I would not mix penne and fettuccine, but penne and maccheroni I would sure do!

I had a bit of each. I placed the penne first in the pot as it is not as soft as the fettuccine. It turned out fine.

@marguicha Fettuccine are an egg pasta, the texture is different from the whole wheat pasta.

My FIL who has passed away used to be a chef for a group of restaurants. He said mushrooms had no taste. WHAT?!!! I love mushrooms too. Have a good week.

Sounds good to me! I like mushrooms too (and they are supposed to be good for our brain-power!) but the rest of my family don't like them so I don't have them often.

Chicken can be cooked in many ways. I´m glad because it is the least expensive source of protein here.
