Do you believe this (possibly) Liberal BS? Or has Trump actually gone mad?

I try to watch both Lefty YouTube videos and FOX videos got gather news about the current Trump criminal trial. But this Lefty post seems a bit over the top. In it, the reporter claims that Donald Trump is posting really bizarre stuff on his Truth Social platform, including a picture of Jesus with his hands on Trump's shoulders, and a post from some Q-Anon guy spouting all sorts of Really Weird Stuff. I have grown more Conservative with age, but I refuse to visit Truth Social. Do you believe Donald Trump is really posting what this person alleges? I hope other news sources look into this, including FOX. What are your thoughts? Could Trump really be posting what this person alleges? What news sources do you trust?

@wolfgirl569 I'll have to go down my Trump worm hole for this morning. I didn't follow the trial yesterday.

You think he actually re-posted someone's post of him with Jesus's arms around him?

I would put anything past him. I'm not going to check out Truth Social; but anything he does doesn't surprise me anymore. He's lost it. Have a good day.

I heard that some Republicans are looking into a "contingency plan" in case Trump is too far gone to run for president. What's funny is: I would consider voting Republican if they trotted someone like Mitt Romney out there. He seems like a man of integrity. Biden has done a good job, but I'd still consider others if they were not nuts. And not career criminals. We live in odd times.

@LindaOHio It doesn't matter. Biden has done a good job and will continue to do so. I hope we have new blood on both sides in 2028, if we still have elections then.

I don't really trust any form of media. Anyone could do or say what they want. Unless we, the common person, could actually view truth social, it's hard to say.

One vote for "Liberal BS." We need someone here to actually visit Truth Social. I think it's available to all of us. Otherwise Trump would not use it. I could be wrong, though.

Are there news sources you trust? I try to visit several. Maybe I'll try to "validate" what this guy says later today.

@TheHorse Not really. I stopped watching the news around the time I cut the cord. If I need to find out about something, I can look it up. I'm only interested in possible hurricanes.

Three options: - Trump has one of the best advisory teams when it comes to public image, political campaigns etc, but he's too cocky to listen and makes poor decisions anyway; - he has a very bad team of advisors he follows blindly, they must have been bribed by the opposition to work against his interests; - some of his supporters are actually trolls in disguise who make fun of him, but he can't tell the difference and reposts their cringey memes thinking they're genuine expressions of admiration. These are my three pennies. My main opinion, however, is that the real culprit here is news media that would rather focus on political clownship instead of promoting what citizens truly need to know when they go to vote in the next election. I guess they bring up this stuff because it's entertaining for the masses, but it serves no purpose except reinforcing the cognitive biases people have about Trump, whether positive or negative.

@TheHorse Oh, that's good. Yeah, I suppose the courtroom is a better topic, but I expect more talk about the parties and candidates these news media outlets support, pooping on the opposition is easy but not always effective. At the same time, I read MeidasTouch focuses on "news, politics and LAW" so it makes sense they mostly cover the hottest court case right now, so they're probably good at that one job and I shouldn't expect more than that from them.

Your comment made me laugh. But the sources I check actually do focus mostly on what's happening in the courtroom, what can be proven or not proven, and not on Trump's issues with bowel or badder control, odd odor, and other less germane subjects.

@sabtraversa This is one of the sources I most often visit. "I read MeidasTouch focuses on "news, politics and LAW" so it makes sense they mostly cover the hottest court case right now, so they're probably good at that one job and I shouldn't expect more than that from them."

I wouldn’t give waste my time reading anything about that lying, cheating, bullying, bast*rd. CNN and NBC are my go to channels and things I read online.

No, I don’t believe it, but I don’t trust any media site. I don’t know how you put yourself through all this political junk as it just raises my blood pressure. Never in my life have I ever just not voted, but boy does this election make me think about it.

I think its important to vote in this election. We'll have to have a bold MyLotter actually go to Truth Social and see if Trump really re-posted what this journalist alleged. I believe it to be true. But we've had two yays and two nays so far in the comments.

He usually doesn't post that insane stuff himself but he likes it and "retruths" it for his followers to see.

So you think he really posted that crazy stuff on his Truth Social? (I actually do too. The source I linked is pretty reliable.)

@NJChicaa Do you know anyone (other than reporters) who has actually visited Truth Social? I wonder if Trump sometimes DOES discuss actual policy issues there.
