I never should have told them

My brothers cafe were ordered closed for two weeks. Their excuse was renovation and changing name of the business. But it's weird because it hasn't been visited by any of their family members. It's my fault, I told the wife that there's no sales for almost two weeks. If I had kept my mouth shut I probably would be sitting pretty relaxing in the AC of their cafe to this day. But I feared they are on verge of closing. They survived two years I think because they were rent free as my mom is the land lord. But now I admit were facing financial troubles with that lack of rent. Yeah, it needs to go and so as my free AC in the afternoon. Storm is coming soon I hope that compensates. Most costumers prefer milk tea and we simply didn't have it. Have a nice day

@Letranknight2015 i haven't either but i think it is only a black tea with milk. black tea is okay for me with milk but other tea flavours, not so and i can't stand sugar in my tea

probably you have to market it well and match it with the vibes of the customers...

I'm sorry to hear. Hopefully you're okay without the ac, and that the restaurant does well when it opens again.

That sounds like a tough situation to navigate. It's understandable to feel a sense of responsibility, especially when it comes to family businesses. It's unfortunate that your brother's cafe had to close temporarily, especially with the uncertainty surrounding the reasons behind it. It must be challenging to see them go through financial troubles, especially with the added pressure of rent payments. Hopefully, the storm you mentioned brings some relief and things start looking up soon. It's tough when customer preferences shift and you're left trying to keep up with demand. Hopefully, they can find a way to bounce back stronger.
