I have a new method with callers

I don't know how or where, but recently I've been getting calls for my friend Connie, who some of you might remember as Maggiepie. I do not know where they got my cell phone number for her, but there it is. Now, it is becoming the political season and I'm getting calls. I just had a guy call asking for "Constancia" which wasn't her name anyway, but I knew who he was asking for. When he asked to speak to her I said: No. He asked again and I again said "No." He addressed me as Mr. Crouch. What??? "Do I sound like a Mister?" I asked back. He again asked for her by an even worse mispronounced version of Constance. I finally corrected his pronunciation and then again told him he couldn't speak to her. He gave up and hung up, but I'm waiting! I'm just waiting for the day when they ask WHY they can't speak to her. Oh, and I'm getting calls for a Donna. I did used to have a Donna living here, but the last name is totally wrong. I do ask for the last name so I can tell them there was never anyone by that name here. IF I ever get them to name the correct Donna I'll let them know what kind of person she really is. The day after we finally got her out of the house, one of her 'friends' called her and asked for them to bring her food. She had food, her cousin had bought food for her after he got her moved in. She had claimed to this person she didn't have anything in the house to eat. My roommate (and future wife) then told this person what kind of person Donna was and suggested she would be wise to drop her. Did she? I don't know and I honestly don't care. Oh, and we know her cousin got her food because after the call, my wife called the cousin about the call and he told her he got her food.

Yeah, well, you don't have the government that jacks around with benefits like ours does.

@ElicBxn I am not even Swiss, so I cannot vote, no one cares to annoy me.

I think I finally stopped getting calls or people who haven't had my number in a while. I was almost getting daily calls from mascot for a while for someone who had a phone number before me. Funny thing. Eventually those calls will die down.

Well, Connie never had this number, it has always been mine. And she hadn't lived with me for 12 years when she passed away. And that was 7 years ago, so....???

I kind of suspect I'll never be rid of all the calls, but if I can have fun with them, since I have just about nothing better to do, well, maybe it will be one less call.
