Got Through The 1st Test

Had my first Cardio test. It was kind of like an ultra sound, except they hooked up a few EKG lines to my legs and chest...not as many as an ekg though. They DID warm up the gel so no cold surprises. LOL I didn't lay down totally on my back, but even at that slight angle, the spinning started. She raised me a little more and it quit.
But then when she was done and I sat up...the spinning went crazy. She helped me sit all the way up, and still spinning. She left me to get dressed as I told her I thought I would be okay. I took my time, leaned against a cabinet and got dressed. Sat down to get a little more steady. Finally I could walk..She came back and walked with me to the front..Went to the bathroom..constantly thinking to stay calm and consentreate. She walked me to the door, and I made it to my van.
Stopped at Subway to pick up supper, as the appt was at 5pm. knew I wouldn't be able to cook supper. I just had to keep concentrating. As long as I fixate on something ahead of me, and don't turn my head too quick, I am okay.
It seems that every time the Vertigo comes back it gets worse. When it started the ONLY time I spun was laying down. The 2nd time I had a little short episodes other than laying down..
THIS time I am getting a LOT of spinning, not only on my back. Anyway, I get to see my GP this morning. Have only seen his PA , but will see HIM today. So happy he is back. Then after I go see him...I go to the Cardiologist for Test 2..no idea what they will do....I might have Tom take me and drop me off just in case I can't sit up during the test. Thank goodness I only live a little over a mile from the testing place.
Hip is still giving me problems. Seems better when I sit for a few minutes then it doesn't hurt until I start walking again. Anyway, I'll be fine..have to keep going.
Update later today!

Sorry about the vertigo. Is it possible that you need a hip replacement? I've had one hip and one knee done; and I need the other knee replaced. Good luck.

I Hope not. Not good with pain, or letting people help me...too independent so Tom says. LOL

@Ghostlady The hip isn't too bad. It's the knee that is more painful and required more physical therapy.

Oh, that spinning is the worse. I've had that and it can be torture. Sometimes I couldn't get out of bed. Glad you are better.

Could be an inner ear problem. Glad the test went well and you're close to it.
