I am so happy the way my life turned out. I was raped at 14 years old and had my oldest son at 15 years old. I am so happy I kept him and he has been such a good joy in my life. He turned out to be a great man and raised two children of his own. I was lucky enough to fall in love with two kind men. My first husband was kind and generous. I adopted his daughter and was glad about that. My first husband died of cancer. He left me will off with a construction business that I sold and paid cash for a new house and new car. We had one child together and each of us had one child when we married. We were adopting my grandson when he died. I knew my second husband for years before we decided to date and than we got married. He told me that my children were now his children and treated them nice from day one. He is a nice sweet man. I am so happy that I had two nice men in my life. Some people are lucky if they have one other person in their life. And here I had two nice men. We have never had a fight we just agree on everything and get along perfect with each other. I am so happy with my life and the way it turned out. Are you happy with the life that you have. I hope so. God has been good to me.

You have a good life being around children and being able to work with them. That is so great.

@jstory07 Heh. One of my kid students (an ADHD boy) was a pain today. But I think I "outlasted" him.

@TheHorse You are good with him. The teen behind us is ADHD. He came over here one day and was just sitting in a chair on our porch. I called his parents just to let them know where he was. I treated him to a pop and cookies and we talked. Than he went home.

I am glad god sent two nice men in your life, and great children and grandchildren. You are also a nice person Judy. Good attracts good. I guess I am happy too. I didn't come across good men, nor do I have children and grandchildren. But financially I was really poor when we started. Comparatively, I am more relaxed now.

@jstory07 I am still seeking solution to my situation such that I am at peace. I don't like to dwell on this. For the rest, listening to music interacting with nice people like you, having fun with people like Pony is a blessing. God blessed with health too. And ability to carry out my responsibilities.

God has been good to me, too. I’ve been single all my life, but never “alone” because He is with me. Yes, I’m very happy with my life. I’m terribly sorry you had bad experiences, however.

Being single is not that bad, is it? They portray it wrong. Music fills the void beautifully. :)

I am sorry for what happened, how wonderful that you turned it around and kept your son. You were so lucky afterwards to have two nice men in your life, as you said. I'm very glad. Although I am no longer married, I do not regret my marriage at all. I have wonderful, beautiful children and that means everything to me.

The happiness that you feel in your life is evident that you have learnt to make delicious lemonade from the lemons that life has handed to you. You have no bitterness, when losing a loved one to cancer or being raped could easily do that. The world really does need more people with your positive outlook.

Nice to hear about your happiness but it takes two hands to clap - you should have done more than your part. Life has been kind to me and I consider myself blessed. Married for forty-seven years with a son who is on his own.

I am so sorry that you went through that. I was also raped at 14, and gave birth to a stillborn son at 15. But I am still happy with how my life turned out. A decade later, I had a beautiful daughter- albeit with the wrong man. Who has grown into a even more beautiful ten year old. It took a long time, but I have a wonderful husband now. After being together for five years, and married for just a couple weeks, and he came with two great bonus kids.

Raped at 14...that must have been a horrible thing to overcome. But glad that you stayed strong and overcame it. Happy to see how your life shaped up and you are really lucky to have two nice men in your life I am happy about my life. Most things in my life were accidental and not planned. But I am happy with the way it has worked. I have a wonderful supporting husband and I am grateful about thar. I am blessed with two lovely daughters. And am blessed with some really good people in family and friends circle.

I am so sorry that you had to endure a rape. But, you turned things around. It sounds like your life has been blessed. I am happy for you. My life is and always has been a struggle. At this point in my life, I hope for a peaceful life. I am mostly content, and God has taken very good care of me through everything. But it is still stormy at times.

Wow! Now that's a testament for the anti-abortion movement and "right to lifers" and against abortion. That must have been a hard decision to make. So glad, you found the courage to persevere and turn a traumatic experience into something where in the end everything worked out for you!
