Day 106 – Wickedness Leviticus 18:1 Then JEHOVAH spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘I am JEHOVAH your Elohiym. 3 According to the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you will not do; and according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you will not do; nor will you walk in their ordinances. 4 You will observe My judgments and keep My ordinances, to walk in them: I am JEHOVAH your Elohiym. 5 You will, therefore, keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does, he will live by them: I am JEHOVAH. 6 ‘None of you will approach anyone who is near of kin to him, to uncover his nakedness: I am JEHOVAH. 7 The nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother you will not uncover. She is your mother; you will not uncover her nakedness. 8 The nakedness of your father’s wife you will not uncover; it is your father’s nakedness. 9 The nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or elsewhere, their nakedness you will not uncover. 10 The nakedness of your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, their nakedness you will not uncover; for theirs is your own nakedness. 11 The nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, begotten by your father—she is your sister—you will not uncover her nakedness. 12 You will not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister; she is near of kin to your father. 13 You will not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is near of kin to your mother. 14 You will not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother. You will not approach his wife; she is your aunt. 15 You will not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law-she is your son’s wife—you will not uncover her nakedness. 16 You will not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife; it is your brother’s nakedness. 17 You will not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, nor will you take her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near of kin to her. It is wickedness. 18 Nor will you take a woman as a rival to her sister, to uncover her nakedness while the other is alive. 19 ‘Also you will not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness if she is in her customary impurity. 20 Moreover, you will not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife, to defile yourself with her. 21 You will not let any of your descendants pass through the fire to Molech, nor will you profane the name of your Elohiym: I am JEHOVAH. 22 ‘You will not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. 23 Nor will you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor will any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion. 24 ‘Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. 25 For the land is defiled; therefore, I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants. 26 ‘You will, therefore, keep My statutes and My judgments, and will not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you 27 (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled), 28 lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you. 29 For whoever commits any of these abominations, the persons who commit them will be cut off from among their people. 30 Therefore, you will keep My ordinance, so that you do not commit any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you do not defile yourselves by them: I am JEHOVAH your Elohiym.’” God’s name: JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal Elohiym – Mighty God Theos – Mighty God – Greek Kitzo – Creator Theoites – Godhead God’s character: Judge Today, it’s all about inclusion, diversity, and blanket acceptance. People openly practice every wickedness and made laws to include their wickedness. JEHOVAH was clear about what constitutes sin. He said if you do any of the acts of incest, bestiality, or homosexuality, He will cut that person off. He called it an abomination. People look at these laws and call them outdated because they point out their wickedness and want Christians to accept them for who they are. Who they are is an abomination to JEHOVAH. Everyone wants to go to heaven when they die. Yet JEHOVAH said if you practice these evil acts, you won’t see heaven. Romans 1:18 For the wrath of Theos is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of Theos is manifest in them, for Theos has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Theoites, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew Theos, they did not glorify Him as Theos, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible Theos into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore, Theos also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of Theos for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Kitzo, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 For this reason Theos gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. 28 Even as they did not like to retain Theos in their knowledge, Theos gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of Theos, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of Theos, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. Revelation 21:7 “He who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his Theos and he will be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (NKJV) Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. Those who want to be included will face JEHOVAH’S judgment and not see heaven but will find themselves in the lake of fire. You all know people who practice this wickedness. Pray for them. Satan has blinded their eyes and told them it’s okay to behave the way they do. You are to love the person but hate what they represent. Elohiym loves everyone. He doesn’t want to cast anyone into hell, but He will because they reject Him with their wickedness. They choose to live an abominable lifestyle that keeps them away from Elohiym. Joshua told the people as they entered the Promised land to choose whom they would serve. Joshua 24:14 “Now therefore, fear JEHOVAH, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the elohiym which your fathers served on the other side of the river and in Egypt. Serve JEHOVAH! 15 If it seems evil to you to serve JEHOVAH, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the elohiym which your fathers served on the other side of the river, or the elohiym of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve JEHOVAH.” The choice is yours. Will you continue to practice an abominable lifestyle, or will you turn to JEHOVAH and put away evil from your life? Your choice will determine where you spend eternity. Let’s pray: Father, help me pray for those who live their lives in sin, keeping themselves away from You and what You prepared for them—eternal life. Let them hear the gospel and know Your heart for them and how much You love them but hate their wickedness. Turn their hearts to You and Your love.
