Judge denies Trump's request to modify the hush money case gag order

It is amazing how his lawyers keep embarassing themselves by doing the insane things that he wants them to do. First of all today one of his defense lawyers tried to "$lut shame" Stormy Daniels about the fact that she is a porn star, she was a dancer, she was in like 150 adult films, etc. All that did was make the jury more sympathetic to her as a witness. The lawyers knew it was a bad idea so why did they do it? Because Trump demanded it. He wanted her to be embarrassed by the lawyer since he cannot say anything himself. So what did his lawyers do at the end of today after Stormy's testimony was long since finished? They asked Judge Merchan to modify the gag order which prevents him from speaking about court staff, their families, and witnesses/potential witnesses. They argued that Trump should now be able to speak about Stormy since she was no longer a witness. WHAT?!?!?! I know next to nothing about the law or being a witness in a trial but I do know a fair amount about Trump. If the judge ruled that he could now say whatever he wanted about Stormy that would then preview for future witnesses what he could potentially say about or do to them. Of course the judge denied the request because DUH.
