Scientists are experimenting with a bacteria "cocktail" that they hope some day will help eliminate the gut of plastics in our oceans and landfills. My question is...is it going to turn out to be a bad idea and what else will this bacteria do when set loose in our environment? Of course the concrete/handrail guy didn't show up for his appointment. I'm running out of options. I hope that the remedy that they have thought of turns out to be effective and it does not end up creating some other problems later. It's annoying when people don't keep up with appointments.. Today was such day when I kept waiting for plumber and he didn't turn up. He promised to come tomorrow at the earliest.

I hate when people don't show up and don't call.

@LindaOHio He has not called back or came till now . Today I am going to call another company. It's our geyser that is not working and water is leaking. Happy that it's summer time and we don't need it much. Else with it not working in winter would have caused so much of inconvenience.

@LindaOHio usually no, I just keep doing what I am doing online, I am considering taking off next Sunday and just coming on here in the late afternoon to catch up but I have a funny feeling I won't be able to stay away from the PC

It is a while they are experimenting with bacteria... let's hope the "remedy" is not worse than the problem, as often is the case.

Yup. I'd want to know what else that bacteria could do.

I can't believe the handrail guy didn't show up. Guarantee that if you hire him he won't do a good job.

If he was too busy, he should have just said so.

I hope the bacteria cocktail won't be a bad idea for the environment. I'm sorry the handrail guy didn't show up. Your meals look good. I had Bran Flakes with blueberries and a banana for breakfast. For lunch, I had potato salad and a Swiss cheese sandwich on Keto bread. Supper was an egg sandwich on Keto bread.

Yeah, I always wonder when they find something new and release it into the environment. Sometimes it just makes things worse.

Not sure what to think of that idea, sounds too scary for what could happen beyond that. Sorry they didn't show up, can't trust many people these days!

I don't know if that's a good idea. But the plastic is not good either.

No, the plastic is affecting sea creatures and even us. There are millions of plastic bottles floating around.
