This and That!

I've been busy the last few days, but still here and trying to catch up on notifications!!
I did a flea market run on Friday. It was a rain day, but we had a very light rain instead of heavy rain like earlier in the week. I managed to talk my hubby into driving and checking on another antique store or two. He is at a standstill on his project until another part comes in.
I stocked some new things and restocked some other things. I was glad today that I took the time to pop in. We have a busy day Saturday and good sales. Today, I didn't have much to clean up either, which was nice!
My hubby bought another case of cleaning towels for getting grease off your hands and/or tools. He had been buying them at the auction, but they bought a couple of pallets of "out of date" towels that are still moist and good. These were all marked $1.00/canister. That beats $5 or $6 for a canister any day. He has two cases now and stocked up for awhile.
Antique store we were looking for has apparently closed because we didn't find one in that area at all. Hubby did stop at the pawn shop in town which also has antiques. They had some old stuff in there and it was fun to stop and talk to the owner. My hubby of course, also had to look at the guns.
Our plans for Saturday got canceled. We were going to a Memorial service for one of my first cousins that passed away in December of last year. It was canceled as the venue, a park, was closed due to flooding from the heavy rains last week.
Today I worked at the flea market. It was a slow day, but sales were very high yesterday, so that makes up for a slow day.
Monday I head back to Louisiana for my shift at the boutique. I have yet to load my inventory into our program. I will wing that tomorrow during my shift or stay late because I doubt it gets done tomorrow before I leave.
That's what I've been up to the last few days! What have YOU been doing?

You had a busy few days, but a busy few days makes up
for a not so busy few days any day right? nothing new
on my end other than the same ole thing working on the
cabin, which is a GOOD thing cause each day gets us
closer & closer to getting it done to get moved back in.

@2ndchances24 I am retired and have been since 2017. I am just as busy as I was working. I told everyone that said I would be bored they were crazy and I've kept that part up. Never bored and not enough time to do all I want to do!!

@kareng Yeah but just think 1 day you'll be retired
& then have more time on your hands than you want.

@wolfgirl569 We got a little done in the garden today. Finally making the hubby realize I can't do it ALL, all by myself.

Thanks for the update. You've been busy. I got a couple of projects done yesterday. Today I will spend a good portion of my time on the phone. Lots to take care of. Have a good week.

Sounds kinda fun. It's been ages since I've been to a flea market. Reading your post makes me want to look out for one.

I enjoy the flea market very much. It's a wide variety of items that can be sold--actually just about anything!
You should if it is interesting to you. I love sending stuff to the flea market vs. throwing it in the trash. I'm helping someone save money and making a little along the way.

It rained all day yesterday and I received a new box I bought for the turtle, but the size of the box was not suitable. Today, I sent a return package by express delivery. It was a sunny day today, and I used a washing machine to wash some clothes before drying them on the balcony.
