21 May - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from a pleasant, sunny, cloudy, rainy, Green Bay, Wisconsin. It's currently 67 F. We had thunder a short while ago with rain. The sun is shining again.
It's been a good day.
I'm thankful for Bible study this morning. It was wonderful. I drove my friend's car, and while she went to lunch with the ladies, she let me drive her car home. I blessed her with gas for the car. It was getting low, and I picked up Sammy for her. He was good while he was here. She also allowed me to get groceries I needed to carry me to the end of the month.
I'm thankful I could go shopping. I bought Keto bread, bananas, unsweetened oat milk, and sugar free jam. I might not need sugar free, but with everything loaded with sugar, and my needing to lose weight, I'm staying away from sugar as much as possible. The bread is high fiber and zero sugar.
I'm thankful I could be here with you today. I have the notifications finished. It was good to find out how things are in your world. With so much diversity here, it came to mind that we all get along well here. It would be wonderful if our governments all got along as well as we do. Thanks for being friendly.
Okay, that's my day. I still need to get my steps. The sun is shining, so I'm going to chance it on the pond trail. I didn't get work done on my book today. There's always tomorrow.

Today has flown by. However, I still have a lot to be thankful for. I'm thankful for the present weather. I'm thankful I did what I told myself I would do. Getting the dish washer going. I also remembered to put the blue cup in it that I've been using for George's tube feeds. I also remembered to put the plunger in some nice soapy water for a little bit. When the dishwasher stops in about an hour and a half, I'll take the plunger for the syringe out to dry. That way it'll be ready to go for the next use.

@just4him I know I do. I love George more than anything and would do anything for him. He's not only my husband, he's my best friend. And, I don't mind saying it. It's the little things that are the most rewarding.
