How much do we get paid for this?

The prize is not fixed on this site. But, it really matters what you write and how you say the things. Because if you see that you have written so many responses to every discussions but you are not paid that much, then you must be writing the one liners only. But, if you state that you have written more than 500 words in each then even the payment is less then it means the quality is not there. I can see the algorithm in this site is most probably striking the keywords found in the discussion and how many times did you repeat the same word. The more the repeatition of the words more cents you will earn or lose. So try writing the good content and don't worry about the payment. Just write the best possible words you can and then see if you get the payment at the month end. Keep smiling and count your dollars not cents. :)

There is not any fixed amount you earn for posts. You may earn 7 cents or even more or even less. It all depends on your post quality and quantity. The admin of mylot has some algorithms that review every post and give you money accordingly. So its time you start posting some good posts rather than just targetting for the numbers

I read in one of the discussions, it is 3 cents. I am not quite sure.

Ok, guys, after reading through all the comments so far, I checked on the FAQ about good posting. Question for all of you. I have been posting all day yesterday some short answers and some long and detariled all varried I guess. My points are adding up but on the frount page it says I have not accumulated any money at all.. Should I have by now or is it to early? How often if it updated and such? Sorry for all the questions I am having fun regardless but It seems the money thing may not make any sense to me anyway!

There is no fixed calculation. It depends on the type of replies u give,, if u post solid reply, you may be chosen as best answer and u will earn much more. Also when u post a discussion, if it is interesting and catch attention of many user and u get many responses... that also increases ur earning.. otherwise the average earning if 3.25 - 3.96 cents for one post

I don't think htere is a set amount..though many think you average about .03 per post..but it's not the whole point of being here. Sharing views is.

I have no idea. I feel like Ive responded to a lot of postes and Ive only gotten 21 cents so far.

I think that you have to write full and big answers if you want to earn much meny per post. Also you can refer some links because it also counts. Dont write just one or two words or little sentences. Also be careful: They dont pay you much money when you just make comments. Write something meaningfull and stupid like this that i have writen to you right now and you will be ok and happy. Also remember that you waste more time searching in the topics and answering with one or two words at anyone of them rather than writing complicated answer.

It aint fixed .. Minimum is 3 cents a post .. It can go to 11c or even more , depending on the content and clarity

On an average of about 2-3 cents per post.But it also depends on the content of the post.For best response i think there will be some increment to the post.

myLot says it is a 'complex system'. I'm sure they don't want us to know so we don't cheat. I bet it has something to do with getting a lot of responses to your discussion, choosing a best response, being chosen as best response, positive ratings, rating others.... no way to know for sure! I'm trying it all!

I don't know if my posts are being rated or if they see it as good enough or worth publishing in New York Times, lol, as long as I can express myself and say what I have in mind with regards to the post. Of course, I also want to get paid for my efforts but really the important thing is that I have not wasted nobody's time in coming here, mostly mine, worthlessly.

The amount does't count how many replys you have pasted. It depends what type of answers you are giving and how long the answers. For Discussion it depends upon the number of responses you get. That what I understand.

I have no idea how much we earn per post, I just started mylot but figured it's worth a shot. I figured I will try to respond to the post and give my answer the best I can and see what happens. as far as how much we get paid for this, I dont have a clue.
