I helped a so-called friend she couldn't pay her rent and was going to get kicked out she needed 200.00 I gave it her then she told me a few days later that she wasn't going to give me back my money and didn't want to be friends anymore. I was like WTF,but you know this was a lesson learned and now I kick it with my computer and family.

Before you loan someone money, make sure you trust them, and make sure they sign a promisary note agreeing to pay the money back.

I think you should ask an attorney about this because he signed this note in good faith but did your sister agree also. She may also be liable because they were married at the time.

I am so sorry for you. You were really tring to be a good friend and help out and she sleped you in the face. Don't let this one bad friend ended it for every one else. If you are ever in the spot to loan money to someone else make a writen agrement that the money is to be payed bad. i have a friend that so much money has back and forth between us that if we ever tried to set down and count it would go into the thousand on both end. They help me out when I need that little help and we help them out whenthey need a little help. i am sorry that you are going though this.

I would help my friends out but I know they wouldnt do this to me, because they are my best friends. If they did, I would probably never speak to them again and make it known that they are theives and liars.

Yes I would help a friend out. But if they did that to me they would no longer be my friend.

I have done that many a times. I have been stuck about 3 times. Most of the time they pay part of it back to me and then just quit. If someone needs help and it doesn't strap me I'll give it to them as a loan, but if I don't get it back, I can live without it. The 3 that have stuck me just stopped coming around. They know what they have done. I am not sorry I gave it to them because it was for necessities but I am sorry they did not have the decency to repay and just quit coming around.

that is harsh, but like you said you have to take it as a lesson learned. I had a similar situation, I was dating this guy that lived 2 hours away from me, and he didn't have a car, so I gave him 1800 dollars to get a used car so I didn't have to keep driving up to his house and back every weekend, well about a month after we had bought the car, he broke up with me and I told him that he needed to pa me back, that was 2 years ago and never seen a penny of that money. Lesson learned. Now I expect to be treated like a queen by a guy and Ihave found a guy that does spoil me and my son.

have faced such a situation too often, and that's the deserve the two day I don't prefer lending money to my friends. I just lost something like more than a thousand dollars up to today, but what is more sad is that I don't know whether do feel sad for the money or for the friends i lost.

lending money - lending money
That's really uncool! Your friend should never have asked you for money if she didn't intend to pay it back. That is not a true friend at all. I'm really sorry for what happened to you. I'm not sure if I would give $200 to someone who wasn't my absolute best and most trusted friend in the world, if I were to expect the money back at all. People are just so greedy sometimes.

Don't worry what goes around, comes around. Too bad you won't be there when it happens. You deserve better anyway.

the first thing that u must think about before lending some one ur hard earned money is whether u wud get it back or not? but now when u have done a mistake there are two options for u a. go to her and punch her nose, threaten to kill her or break her leg and get ur money back...u know what i mean..get it by force, its not a bad thing given what she did with u b. forget money and move ahead..200 is not a very big sum..u can earn more on mylot
