When you were daydreaming in school...did you see yourself where you are today?

I am a 21 year old mother of 3, married 5 years (my junior year) with a successful husband, and a completely different relationship with my family members. This is definitely NOT what I had in mind back in the day. I thought I'd be some sort of career woman, saving the world one client at a time! lol. Are you where you thought you'd be in life?

Life does throw a few lemons at us from time to time. It's good to have a plan, and then have a back up plan if that one doesn't work out. Maybe the career thing will come later in life when your children are out on their own. You can then be a successful career grandmother, saving the world, without sacrificing the well being of your children.

I would have to agree with you - that this is definitely not where I thought I would be but - I too wouldn't change a thing - life does have it's ups & downs but I think I got lucky when I found my husband - he's the greatest person I have ever known. So I am enjoying life one day at a time!!!

Not, Really. However I did had an interesting vision of myself, liking computers later on. The old Mac computers scared me... It was hard to get me to sit and type on one the sound the monitored mad.. made me think it was going to fry our brains, so we were all afraid the computers would effect our brainwaves, as little 3rd graders lol... :) . Well. The Vision I had was of myself typing back and forth, to my sister who lived a half our away. I loved to talk to her but I get nervous at times when I speak at that time I had a serious speach problem and I struggled to talk, normally, and I wanted to talk to my biological sister so bad we grew up 30 minutes apart adopted to different foster homes, and went to different schools. I remember telling her my vision and we thought that would be so great if we could type to eachother for cheap, since our mothers claimed long distance was so expensive, and type to people all over the world, and learn from everyone... Little did I know, That 5 years later, (1995) I would do just that. - DNatureofDTrain
