It seems Ive spent hundreds of dollars on diet pills, none of them worked, then Ive tried at least 20 different diets. I have managed to lose 40 pounds by eating basically the south beach diet. But it seems I am never satisfied with my weight. I feel like I am borderline obsessive. Does anyone else feel this way? If so HELP I need advice

First things first set yourself a goal keeping in mind the ideal weight for you, dont try to go below that and make your body suffer or the backlash will be devastating. I am obese and have suffered obesity for the past 15 years more from my own choice of eating and the foods i really love but a piece of advice from my gynaec and very practical was this. Dont diet. instead aim to lose just around a kilo a month. Eat what you eat but in limited quantity, eat plain biscuits or at the most one bread with tea, have a normal but limited without too much fat lunch, evening tea, fruits if you want, and a normal but again limited dinner. eat as much white meat that is fish avoiding prawns, they cause weight gain. Dont eat red meat. eat all fruits except bananas, grapes, mangoes, chickoos, basically fleshy fruits as they too add weight. it actually is practical and if you are not really obese in one year you would be down by at least 15 kilos or more than 30 pounds. Two years down the line this same thing should do the trick. Try it, let me know if it works.
