Brandon Hilliard was looking for his dog Faroe who was in a drainpipe in the Chicago River on Saturday September 27 when he contacted the Chicago Marine Unit who was in the area looking for a missing dog as well.
Brandon teamed up with the Marine Unit and they were able to locate Faroe who was near the Harrison Street Bridge. The police and Brandon managed to get the female pit bull terrier out of the drainpipe safely.
Brandon is grateful that he was able to reunite with his pet dog.

It is not known how the dog wound up in the drainpipe in the first place.

Perhaps the dog had a stash of bones in there, but got in too deep and got lost in there.
