Do you have a "packet drawer" in your kitchen?"

One of the funny You Tube videos I watch over and over is Tom Hanks as an affable redneck in SNL's Black Jeopardy. I'll provide a link below. One of the questions involves a "packet drawer," the kitchen drawer where we all store our leftover packets from Taco Bell, the "Sushi Place," etc. Do you have a packet drawer in your kitchen? Mine is actually my silverware drawer. It is there you'll find my ageless soy sauce, hot sauce, and Horsey Sauce.

My family did, but I don’t. Maybe I should start the tradition in my own home. It’s handy when you need hot sauce, or there is no ketchup for your fries.

No ketchup with your fries? For shame?

Funny video, Tom Hanks always proves to be a great actor. I never heard of "packet drawers", this must be something different in your culture.

I had not really thought of it until I saw the video. Maybe it is an American thing.

Those restaurants are starting to charge for packets. Even McDonalds. I don't go to enough of them that often to need a drawer for them.

I don't have a packet drawer but I have a container for sauce packets, etc. I don't know why I have it as I never seemm to get around to using them.

We used to. Now we just have some stuff in the butter holder in the fridge.

No, I only have 4 packets of ketchup right now. Threw the rest away because they were ancient.
