That Didn't Happen

We went to LaRue but couldn't get through where we thought we could. The road was not supposed to be torn up in that area from what we had been told. And neither of us felt like driving 8 to 10 miles around. Hubby said he was looking forward to going. If I had knew that before we got home I would have told him to take me around. There is always next month.
Hubbies game is just coming on so I will hide out in my escape room all evening. I need to work on my crocheting anyways.
At least I have 12 pints of green beans done. Hope you had a good day.

This area was asked about by one woman and the answer was ( you don't have a sidewalk there so we won't be tearing anything up. ). Never did I hear anything about tearing the road out anywhere but they did and are being extremely slow repaving. It will soon be to cold to repave.

We get notifications weeks in advance that they’re doing construction..then you’ll see “lane closed” signs and the lane’s not closed (or worse, no sign and the lane’s IS closed). Sorry y’all didn’t get to go.

LaRue wanted new sidewalks downtown. The next thing we seen was they tore the whole road out too. Someone wasn't telling the truth or didn't know what was going on
