We never had any Rite Aid’s around Oklahoma (to my knowledge). We just have the chain Walgreens and CVS.
Yesterday, I had a lot of a cream of chicken with wild rice soup. Then I had a ham, tomato, mustard and cheese sandwich on cheddar and jalapeño bread.

That is sad about Rite-Aid. It's been around for forever.

@LindaOHio .......It's gotten too expensive to run a business and make anything nowadays.

@jstory07 Talked to cousin #2 who was a nurse for 20 years. She thinks it could be coming from the novocaine shots except that I noticed swelling behind my ear and along my jawline. Today the pain is 99% gone.

It is too bad that the chain is closing, competition is good, it gives the consumer more leverage.
Yesterday we went apple picking in the morning, and didn't return home until early afternoon.
We were both starving and I made up some wraps with fresh deli meats, lettuce and cheeses.
He had some potato chips with his wrap and I had some cheezies with mine.
Neither of us were too hungry come suppertime, so I had some fresh strawberries, a slice of marble cheese and a little dish of yogurt, while he reheated some stew from earlier in the week.

Between Walmart and Rite Aid, they were always the biggest latest two struggling the most, and Walgreens continues to struggle as well. The concept just doesn't work anymore, I think. They've lost their way.
For dinner, we skipped it due to a late lunch stopping at the North Side Dairy Haven on a little trek to my old stomping grounds in Edwardsville, Illinois. I had a double charcoburger and man, I will tell you this, it's one of the best hamburgers I've had in a long time, and I thought relatively cheap too at $6.50 for what I got. Wifey had a fish sandwich.

Never been to one as there weren't any of those around here.
That's good to no pain still. Hope that continues.
