I'm not talking about that police officer who are really proud of nations, but in a cotary those who play with the innocent peoples & do whatever they want to do with them by mis using their power which should be used to protect them ? Is there any law to protect these type of people ? How to deal with these govt officials ?

Unfortunatly there's not much you can do... Just avoid contact all in all. Don't know why police officers always have to be mad!?

Thanks, but it really panic for me also. As they got all politicak power also... But upto how much one can remain silence ? In big cities it can be managed, but in small areas they are the ultimate law & order..

I know exactly what you mean. Personally, I don't trust anyone with so much power. I was in a situation with a girlfriend of mine many years ago... we were taking my nephew(s) to McDonald's and my youngest nephew (about 8 months old) had weaseled his way out of his safety harness (car seat) so my friend immediately pulled over so that I could retrieve my nephew from the floor and re-fasten his car seat belt. The problem was that we were pulled over on a small street where there was no parking on that side of the road. Although, we had the hazard lights on and it only took us minutes to resituate my nephew... a cop pulls over and tickets us for impeding traffic (which, by the way, he was the only one to come down the small street since we pulled aside). Now, the ticket stated the facts all wrong. They had the make, model, color and placement of the car WRONG! We went to court to fight the ticket and even though the officer must have been on something to make that many mistakes in the report, he still prevailed! The court holds the officer in such high regard that it made no difference that the report was totally botched! Serve and protect? Justice for all? Yeah right!

Another story of my experience with the law: My hubby and I had an experience where he was pulled over because he resembled someone that had a warrant and was well-known by the police. They checked his I. D. to verify he wasn't the man they were looking for and wouldn't you know.... they made us sit and wait, with our daughter in tow, to make sure he didn't have any warrants while they already had him pulled over. How is that fair? "You look like someone we are looking for and now we realize you're not but what the heck, let's run your personal information while we have you." Luckily, my hubby didn't have any reason to be concerned but it was like entrapment to be pulled over by accident and then held while they verified he didn't have any outstanding warrants or tickets. We were late for my baby's 6 month checkup because of it: ( I started a discussion called "Serve and Protect?" right before I joined your discussion. If you're interested in reading my other friend's story, look at my profile for 'discussions I've started' for that one.
