I know you were all on the edge of your seats, waiting to see what I used my survey earnings to order this time. Well, wait no longer!
This order was a little more expensive than some of my previous ones, but I'm really happy with everything I got.
As always, I'll go through each item, tell you what it is, what I paid versus the original price, and then we'll see just how much I managed to save.
Without further ado...
The first item is something my mother-in-law has mentioned several times. I already own a couple of them myself, but because I'm not sure she'll like the slightly awkward button placement on mine, I decided to order her one of her own. The original price was $12.38, and I paid $2.99. That's a savings of $9.39, which is pretty impressive if you ask me!
The second item is a silly gag gift for Chris. It's a 1.5-ounce "hidden" shot glass disguised as a golf ball. If you've seen Happy Gilmore 2, you probably recognize these because they were featured in the movie. That's part of the reason I bought it! Chris had mentioned that he wanted one, so I was excited when I stumbled across it while shopping. The original price was $5.93, and I paid $2.99, saving $2.94. Not quite as dramatic as the first item's discount, but still a solid deal.
The last item is a strainer bowl/basket. I've been thinking about getting one for a while, and then it just happened to pop up in my feed. Some people would call it fate! This is probably the item I'm most excited about. The original price was $5.25, and I paid just $1.91, for a savings of $3.34.
So, here's how everything added up:
Original total: $23.56
What I paid: $7.89
Total savings: $15.67
Not too shabby! I have to toot my own horn every once in a while.
Have you found any great deals today? I know that might be a tough question since it's only 6:30 in the morning... but maybe you've already been shopping!

Good on you, saving almost 50%! I've been enjoying getting freebies to review for Amazon, but they aren't completely free - they still have a tax value that I will have to pay income taxes on, eventually...

@thislittlepennyearns it's called Amazon Vine. I'm not sure there's any way to "apply" or if you have to wait to be invited. But I think if you make sure to write thoughtful reviews, you are likely to be invited.
