Why do some countries have people that are good at a paticular thing

Like Ireland,Italy ,Wales which are known for their good singers and then India and Japan who have many highly inteligent people.australia has many good sports people Swimming,Tennis,Cricket just to mention some .Why is this ?

or the Africans are good dancers how do the values aid dancing or having good movement

I think it may not be so much what people are naturally good at in a particular country so much as what the culture values. So if the culture values intelligent people it will naturally develop an affinity with education. Likewise if a culture values sports and athletism then it will develop an affinity for physical programs.

Yes i agree with you as far as the intullectual side and here in Aust. we are a very sporting country but how do so many people in one country have great singing voices and have a natural music ability . In the african countries they have great movment and are good dancers they ust seem to be born with rythem the Islanders are the same.Then the Americans ,English,and the like even though they are all multi-cultural but don't seem to have any paticular gifts

yeh strange that hey, just as well people arn't judged on their nationality by the country you come from, I wouldn't belong any where....:)
